There are two.

One rarely wears nail polish, let alone makeup. The other lives for Sephora. One explodes mentally at the idea of jeans over $30. The other loves name brand everything. One would wear Manolos every day. The other...no, wait. That's both, really.

One of us obsesses over television shows, loves shopping, lives in the Midwest, and only has small conservative tattoos in easily hidden places. The other watches college football with enthusiasm, curses like a sailor, lives in DC, and is moving quickly towards being completely covered in tattoos (some of which are completely ridiculous). One has cats (only because she's not home enough for dogs), the other has dogs (only because the ex was allergic to cats). One is (sort of) engaged, the other is (kind of) divorced.

Yet there is overlap. A mutual love of shoes, and the West Wing, and Old Navy. A mutual respect for the serious knowledge we posses (graduate degrees in history and economics here, folks. We're a lot of things, but we ain't dumb!) And so we're gonna blog about stuff.

What kind of stuff? We're not 100% sure yet. We imagine there will be lots of reviews of books, movies, TV shows, various consumer products. There will be postulations, theories, and tales of woe and amazingness. For every makeup and shopping entry, one will exist as an exact opposite. Unless one of us gets grumpy. Then there's always socks.
